At Mitramela India, our primary mission is to empower women through education, skills training, and social awareness programs. While we are not a commercial business, we may occasionally ship physical items such as:
Donor appreciation gifts
Campaign merchandise (e.g., T-shirts, badges, hand-made products)
Educational or awareness materials
Participation kits for events/workshops
This Shipping Policy explains how we handle the delivery of such items.
1. Shipping Locations
Currently, we ship within India only. For international deliveries, please contact us in advance to check feasibility.
2. Dispatch Time
Orders and packages are usually processed within 5–10 working days after confirmation.
In case of event-based kits or pre-orders, dispatch timelines may vary, and donors/participants will be informed accordingly.
3. Delivery Partners
We use reliable third-party courier and postal services (e.g., India Post, DTDC, Delhivery, etc.) for all deliveries.
Once dispatched, a tracking number (if available) will be shared via email or SMS.
4. Delivery Time
Delivery times depend on your location and the courier service used. Generally:
Metro cities: 3–7 business days
Non-metro cities or rural areas: 5–10 business days
5. Shipping Charges
Many items are shipped free of cost as a token of appreciation for your support.
If there are shipping charges (e.g., for bulk orders or merchandise purchases), they will be clearly mentioned at the time of the request/donation.
6. Incorrect Address / Non-delivery
Mitramela India is not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the donor/user.
If an item is returned to us due to such issues, re-shipping can be arranged after confirmation and may involve an additional shipping fee.
7. Damaged or Lost Packages
If your package is damaged or lost in transit, please notify us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
We will investigate and try our best to resend the item, depending on stock availability.
